We are an established Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) consultancy firm located in Johor Bahru, Johor. We are seeking highly motivated, competent and talented individuals to fill in the following positions: 

Design Engineer (Civil & Structural)

(Johor - Johor Bahru)

Responsibilities:

1 Implement the Company’s Quality system.

2 Liase with sub-consultant / consultant to request for necessary information required for design.

3 Carry out preliminary and detail of design of structures and / or infrastructures basing on the Design Plan / Concept.

4 Discuss with Engineer-in-charge if encounter problem or difficulty during the design stage.

5 Carry out design review with the Engineer-in-charge at appropriate stages of the design.

6 Compile complete design calculations upon completion of the design work.

7 Check the completed design drawings and make correction, if necessary before printing for distribution.

8 Check the printed drawings before issuing for approval / tender / construction, etc.

9 Draft submission letter and compile drawing list, design calculations / engineering report and submission forms for submission to the authorities for approval.

10 Attend site meeting and prepare minutes, if required.

11 Assist the Engineer-in-Charge in the following works :-

11a Monitor progress of construction work,

11b Carry out quality control of contractor’s work &

11c Prepare As-Built drawings.

12 All other matters as instructed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

Required skill(s): Experience in using Esteem, CSC Orion & CSC Fastrack softwares is a plus, Experience in designing reinforced concrete and steel structures is required, Experience in designing civil works is a plus, MS Project, AutoCad.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English (for both spoken and written)

At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Full-Time positions available 

Site Engineer (Civil & Structural)

(Perak - Lumut)

Responsibilities:

1 Assist Construction Manager in planning and monitoring.

2 Carry out quality control to contractor’s work and ensure that all inspection and test are documented in accordance to the company quality system.

3 Coordinate and supervise site work.

4 Liaise with Sub-Consultants on engineering matter.

5 Advise contractors on engineering matter.

6 Verify quantity measurement submitted by contractor for interim valuation, variation orders and final account.

7 Relate all instructions from Construction Manager to contractors.

8 Verify site diary and progress reports submitted by contractors.

9 Attend meeting when instructed by Construction Manager (including preparing the Minutes of Meetings).

10 Document control.

11 Monitor the delivery of off-site fabricated items in accordance to the program.

12 Ensure all test/warranty certificates/agreement are submitted by contractors in accordance to the contract.

13 Ensure all shop drawings, as built drawings and maintenance manual are submitted by contractors in timely manner.

14 Prepare coordination drawings incorporating various work and seek subconsultant’s assistant if required.

15 Verify shop drawings submitted by contractor against construction drawings and coordination drawings.

16 Ensure setting out done by contractor is in accordance to construction drawing.

17 Check drawings in advance of construction.

18 All other matters instructed by the Construction Manager or Director.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

1 Implement Construction Management Procedures.

2 Plan and coordinate construction process.

3 Monitor construction progress and update/revise master program.

4 Setting up site offices and related utilities and facilities.

5 Liaise with client and sub-consultants.

6 Chair all site and coordination meetings and prepare minutes of meeting.

7 Implement site safety and become chairman of site safety committee.

8 Monitor performance of contractors and sub-consultants.

9 Be the head of site office administration.

10 Lead a team of Project Engineers and coordinate with Procurement & Contracts Section for contractual matters.

11 Carry out quality control on contractor’s work. 

12 Arrange for CFO inspections performed by local authority or governmental department.

13 To provide minimum five(5) nos. of site feedbacks to office for future improvement.

14 All other matters instructed by the Director.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

Required skill(s): Project Management and Administration, Site Supervision (Civil & Structural), Experience in constructing flour mills is a plus.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English

At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
