Synopsis:

This technical talk is organized with the objectives to share among fellow engineers with UAC Berhad  knowledge on installation, benefits, composition, project reference by introducing the new wall system and a total steel solution for steel structure requirements.UAC is introducing their UCO SolidWall System, a system which can fits into modern day commercial, institutional and residential building construction. Itis also a certified Industrial Building System (IBS) by Construction Industry Development Board of Malaysia (CIDB). For the UAC Steel Systems Sdn Bhd, is offering a total steel solution for steel structure requirements and was specialize in manufactures steel products such as roof trusses, roof and ceiling battens and steel frame systems for commercial, residential and-industrial buildings. They are the pioneer in Light Weight Steel Roof Truss System in Malaysiawhich started in year 2000. UAC will brief the members on Light Weight Steel applications and costing. The presentation also covers on the common paint problem faced by the industrial player and product knowledge on Ceramic.

Aboutthe Speaker:  

Mr. Alvin Chong, is the Sales Engineer for UAC Berhad. He is one of the pioneer staff from Product Development team that involves in UCO SolidWall System. He has vast working experience in handling a presentation on UCO SolidWall System to the government bodies like JKR, architects, developers,architectural students and etc.

Mr. Aaron Lai, is the General Manager for UAC Steel Systems Sdn Bhd. He has 20 years of experience in the steel

industry, dealing with both local and overseas steel mills namely Luxemburg,Korea, China, Taiwanand Japan.

En Ali SabriSalehuddin, is the General Manager on Operations & Technical for Johan Ceramic Berhad. He joined Johan Ceramics Bhd in 1983 as a Lab Technologist and was later promoted to Ceramic Technologist and Plant Co-ordinator.  In mid-1989, he was promoted as Factory Manager and subsequently appointed as Works Manager in May 1992.  In June 2007, he was promoted to General Manager. He had attended a senior management programme (MDP) with the Asian Institute of Management in 1994. He also attended training on ceramic technology and manufacturing in Thailand,Taiwan, Spain, England,Italy, China and Australia. He was a SIRIM Technical Committee member for tiling standard and an advisory panel for curriculum for Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi Mara.
