SYNOPSIS

Design & Build (D&B) is a type of procurement method whereby the Owner enters into a single contract with a single entity that will be responsible for both the architectural/engineering as well as construction works of the project.

This Seminar brings a group of outstanding local Engineers as well as overseas Engineers who have been working in the construction industry for numerous years. The main  objective of this seminar is to cover the issues and topics, sharing of working experiences, highlighting potential problems as well as sharing the benefits of employing this type of Contract. Case studies on the Johor CIQ Complex, the Singapore Benjamin Sheares Bridge and the Singapore MRT contracts will be presented.

The Asian Concrete Construction Institute (ACCI) was founded in May 2004, to foster regional integration in the concrete and construction industry. In the last few years, ACCI together with the public and private partners, have been organizing many seminars, workshops and training courses in Singapore & Malaysia.
