Synopsis:

Selection of piping material requirements is the utmost important in the design and installation of any piping systems, besides the reliability and economic issues of such installations. Materials used have evolved from asbestos cement, metal to “ high strength” thermoplastic materials such as ABS. ABS has a proven track record in high-rise applications, apartment buildings, hotels/motels and commercial installations, HVAC, processed water/waste water piping, water and reticulation piping, as well as many other applications, with the combined advantage of low maintenance and low cost. Fittings are joined fast with a well proven solvent jointing system, creating bonds stronger than the parent material.
