SYNOPSIS

In the effort to streamline the implementation of Government IBS projects in the 9th Malaysia Plan, all Ministries, Agencies, State Governments and Local Authorities are required to consider only projects with a minimum 70% of IBS components. This is to drive the construction industry towards high productivity and quality, reduction of foreign labour and creation of a sustainable, component based IBS industry – in the face of greater competition when the market is liberalized by 2012.

Architects, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Developers, Contractors, Sub-contractors, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, Clerk of Works, Government Officials, Manufacturers & Suppliers.
