NOTICE OF 38tH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS, MALAYSIA (SOUTHERN BRANCH) – 25TH JUNE 2011 Please be informed that in accordance to Section 40 of the Southern Branch By-laws And Regulations, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the 38th Annual General Meeting of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (Southern Branch) will be held as follows: Date : Saturday, 25th June 2011 Time : 11.00 a.m. Venue : The Mutiara Hotel, Johor Bahru The Agenda for the Annual General Meeting is as follows: 1) Opening Address by the Chairman Session 2010/2011 2) Confirmation of Minutes of the 38th Annual General Meeting 3) Matters Arising 4) Annual Report for Session 2010/2011 5) Statement of Financial Account ending 31st March 2011 6) Election of Internal Auditors 7) Election results for Executive Committee for Session 2011/2012 8) Change of Office Bearers 9) Any Others Business 10) Chairman Address Session 2011/2012. To assist in our planning and arrangement to ensure there are sufficient seats, members are requested to return the Reply Slip to the Secretariat not later than 17th June 2011.

40th Anniversary Dinner 2011 of The Institution of Engineers Malaysia, Southern Branch
We are very pleased to inform that our 40th Anniversary Dinner 2011 will be held as follows:

2-July-2011 (Saturday) – 7.30 p.m Cost : RM 100/- per ticket (RM 1,000 per Table) (Excluding drinks and corkage)
We are honoured to have Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar and Duli Yang Maha Mulia Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah as the VVIP Guest-of-Honours of the evening.
We hope that you will strongly support the branch activity by attending the dinner together with your guests. We also hope that you will take this opportunity as a get-together session with other fellow members, engineers and professionals. As in previous years, we have again arranged for some enchanting evening entertainment for all.
