Synopsis:

Throughout the presentation and technical demo, Cemseal will touch on the importance of waterproofing in structural repair and construction stage. Successful waterproofing of concrete foundations prevents the degradation of environmental and health conditions of building materials used in below ground storeys, and extends the service life of concrete constructions. However, despite the importance of waterproofing systems for concrete foundations, the fact that repairing them is either impractical or prohibitively expensive.

A variety of waterproofing membranes is currently available to be applied to concrete foundations, but there is a specific criteria on their fitness (durability and flexibility) that will be concisely described during the visit. Cemseal will showcase how the waterproofing systems formed (crystallization and pore blocking process), techniques and its industrial practices
