Synopsis

This webinar will be covering on how Autodesk Civil 3D is being used for Civil and Infrastructure project. This webinar is design to understand the right way of using Topography Survey Data in Road Design and the flow of using Autodesk Civil 3D in real project design. This webinar also will be focusing on how Civil 3D works as well as how it can accommodate to design requirements by Malaysian authorities such as JKR.

About Speaker

Mr. Abi Sarwan obtained his bachelor’s degree in Science in Architectural Studies from University of Wales, Cardiff in 1999 and is a registered Graduate Technologist. He has been actively involved in BIM based project since 2004. He has working experience for over 21 years in various Architectural, Engineering and Construction Consultancy in Malaysia such as GDP Architects, Arkitek Binarjaya, ACAPacific Technology (M) Sdn Bhd and Sime Darby Property. He also involved with the Autodesk Ecosystem which he started working as an Application Specialist and certified as an Autodesk Trainer from 2006. Now, he is the Managing Director for 3DTech Parametric which is the Gold Partner Reseller for Autodesk.

Mr. Abi is heavily involved with the CIDB community. He is one of the BIM steering committees to develop BIM training contents. He also has been invited as a guest speaker for many events in various university and organizations. In 3DTech, Mr. Abi managed to build and maintain a strong relationship with well-known company such as the YTL Corporation Berhad, Sime Darby Property, GDP Architects Sdn. Bhd., Ranhill Utilities Berhad and more.

Mr. Affandi graduated from Institute Kemahiran Mara in Civil & Structural Drafting Course in 1995. He continued his study in Design Draughtsman Courses at the Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia (ACEM) from 1997 to 1998. He has working experience for 21 years in Civil Works specifically in drafting and design. He worked with C&H Engineering Consultants Sdn. Bhd. from 1995 until 2012 as Senior Draughtsman. Now, he works with KI Integrated Consultants Sdn. Bhd. for more than 8 years as Senior Draughtsman. He has been involved in several projects such as Projek Membina Jalan dari Perlis ke Changlun and Development and Upgrading of The Proposed Pan Borneo Highway in The State of Sarawak – Phase 1.
