Synopsis

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Aeronautics Laboratory (UTM Aerolab) is a one of UTM research centre that focus aerospace, automotive and wind engineering research activities, industrial consultation and support on educational development in UTM. The main facility is a Low-Speed Wind Tunnel (UTM-LST) with a maximum wind speed of 290 km/h and excellent flow qualities. The laboratory aims to be the focal point and centre of excellence in wind tunnel testing in Malaysia and the Asia-Pacific region. The laboratory is accredited under MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 in 2021. The talk will further discuss the challenges and opportunities in operating this laboratory
