Synopsis
Clay Industries is a century-old Malaysian manufacturer of ceramic sanitary ware with a global footprint. Known for its commitment to international quality, the company exports to key markets worldwide, including Japan, Germany, and Canada. The company is set to launch its premium brand, Silverdale, in Malaysia in 2026. Manufactured in the UK since 1979, Silverdale is the market leader for classic British bathrooms and was the sanitary ware supplier for the famous Battersea Power Station project in London. Clay Industries also introduces a new product line designed for public facilities. The Claytan Clean series features a modern design combined with practical benefits like scratch resistance, anti-stain technology, and antibacterial protection for easy maintenance and enhanced hygiene.
This technical visit aims to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the ceramic manufacturing lifecycle at a pioneering Johor-based company. It will offer engineers a unique opportunity to witness how traditional craftsmanship has evolved with modern automation and advanced technology, providing valuable insights into large-scale industrial production processes. The visit is strictly limited to 30 participants only. Registration will be on a first-come-first-serve basis REGISTRATION IS CONFIRMED ONLY WITH PAYMENT RECEIVED.
